 We are very pleased to announce that David completed his 2.4km walk in blistering heat at HMS Temeraire in a time of 4 hours and 35 minutes. He was supported by family and friends who were amazed at his determination in spite of suffering with a chest infection. The last 1 and half laps were taking their toll on him physically and although in pain and being exhausted he battled on until the end where he received a resounding applause and many congratulations. Lance Corporal Darryl Gilmore was there to ensure he completed the full 6 circuits of the running track, so he and 3 comrades will be playing 30 hours of squash in September to beat the world record and raise more funds which will be added to Dave's bmycharity fundraising. Also on Saturday 9th July a street collection took place in Commercial Road, Portsmouth by David and Fr Brizz which raised £305.34.
